Summary: This article is the first work on the archeology of the Trinity Muezersky monastery in the western White Sea region. The monastery was founded by the Solovetsky monk Kassian in the second half of the XVI century on the island of lake Mui. This is the only place in the White Sea Karelia where a beautiful monument of church architecture of the XVII century. The Church of Saint Nicholas has survived to this day. In 2019, archaeological work was carried out on the territory of the monastery’s estate for the first time. The main task was to identify elements of the ancient cultural and economic landscape of the monastery. It was supposed to clarify the boundaries of the monument, localize the main monastic structures on the ground, understand their condition, and outline a strategy for future work. Most of the monastic objects described in historical documents were found. This is the burned-down Trinity Church of the XVI century, a stone wall, a glacier, the remains of cells, a stone cross, and a cemetery. New information increases our knowledge about the late medieval monasteries of Karelia.
