Summary: The article is devoted to the relevant topic of veneration of the Holy Prince Vladimir equal to the apostles. The main subject of the study is the perception of the Russian religious consciousness of the place of the equalto- the-apostles Prince in the circle of all Russian miracle workers. The study was conducted on works of hymnographic and panegyric genres of the XVI–XVIII centuries, praising the host of Russian saints as a whole. The authors of these few works emphasize the dominant role of Prince Vladimir – the Baptist of Russia in the history of Russian Orthodoxy. The article shows the significant contribution of the Old Believers to the preservation of the feast of all Russian miracle workers and the Church’s veneration of Prince Vladimir as the founder of this host during the XVIII–XIX centuries. In the Vyg Old Believers’ community in the 1730s, there was not only create a new literary piece dedicated to all Russian miracle workers, but also for the first time created their consolidated iconography – the Image of all Russian miracle workers. The Apostolic activity of Prince Vladimir, who adopted Orthodoxy from Byzantium, served as the starting point of the historiographical concept created by the Vyg Old Believers in the first third of the XVIII century.
