Summary: The partisan war in the Crimea, despite the study of General issues, is very poorly marked by studies of individual moments. This is relevant for the cornerstone process-the search for methods and methods of partisan struggle, the development of specific tactics. The scientific task was to study this phenomenon on the most vivid example. The article considers the operational situation and search for partisan formations in the Crimea in the field of tactics on the example of the battles for the village of Baksan in the Zuysky district. The process of decision – making on the part of command structures-the Headquarters of the Main leadership of the partisans of the Crimea, the partisandistrict and the command of individual detachments-is particularly disclosed. On the basis of archival sources, the combat activity of detachments and staffs is reconstructed, the main features and problems are indicated, primarily in the interaction of different formations. New documents are being introduced into scientific circulation. As a result, using the methods of historical science (primarily problem-chronological), it was possible to trace the process of searching for and changing the tactics of deployment of guerrilla warfare at the initial stage.
