Summary: The article presents analysis of the material obtained by PetrSU expedition in 2017 on the ancient site, known in literature as Svyatilische (“Sacred Place”). The problem of correlation between the White Sea petroglyphs and nearby sites is examined in the context of their dating and functioning. Among the researchers there are different approaches to dating of the White Sea petroglyphs with the use of nearby sites materials. So that it is also necessary to define more precisely the heights above sea level for different types of ceramics found on the sites of the Lower Vyg River, close to petroglyphs. More detailed study of the area settling in Neolithic-Eneolithic including both the bank line and the islands on the river is also needed. The carried out research showed that a group of ancient relics including Besovy Sledki petroglyphs (the northern group), nearby sites and artifacts found here in the river, represent an assemblage – partly intercorrelating and seems to be chronologically close, and from time to time synchronic assemblage.
