Summary: The article is devoted to the analysis of the author’s paroimia Here is a constitution, grandmother! In the course of working with the sources of the period of the beginning of the XX-th century, the only one case of using this paroimia in the rubric “The Modern Proverbs” of the social and political satirical magazine “Summer Lightnings” was revealed. The scientific novelty of the study is that for the first time the author’s paroimia Here is a constitution, grandmother! is analyzed, which has not previously attracted an attention of researchers. The developed by the author technique of the analysis of historically distanced author’s paroimias of the Russian language, including methods of the component, contextual, logical and semiotic analysis as well as analysis of vocabulary definitions were used in the work. As a result of the study, the following results were obtained: 1) it was revealed that a proverb Here is the St. George’s day, grandmother! was used as a transformation source; 2) by determining the identity of the structural models of the source paroimia and formed on its basis author’s paroimia and their belonging to the same higher logical and semiotic invariant I (2) and logical and thematic group “The wish for the reality ‒ available things” scientifically substantiated recognition in the author’s paroimia of its system prototype; 3) it was determined that the situation with the adoption of the Main State Laws Arch had motivated new proverb formation, 4) the author’s paroimia judgment was formulated in the following way: ‘An expression of a disappointment that people’s hopes of the official Main State Laws Arch have not come true’, 5) a type of the analyzed proverb was defined as a proverbial and sayings expression. The final part of the article outlines the prospects for further research.
