Summary: The relevance and novelty of the study are determined by the fact that the composition and stylistic functions of quantitative-nominal combinations in the poetic works of Alexander Pushkin have not been studied. The analysis shows that the numerical components of these constructions perform not only informative, but also genre-forming and expressive-evaluative functions in the lyrical works of the poet. The use of combinations with numerals indicates the demand for them in folklore stylizations (Songs of the Western Slavs, etc.), as well as in the contexts indicating the time and number of persons. Evaluative meanings (good / bad) can be expressed by quantitative-nominal combinations implicitly, therefore, for their understanding it is necessary to take into account the broader context, the logical and syntagmatic presuppositions of poetic utterance.
