The author analyzes the publications about this monument, published in China, Russia and Western countries. Set the range of major issues raised by its researchers. Those aspects of the monument that are little-studied or have not yet been affected by experts are identified. At the same time the author characterizes the prospects for further study of this woodcut block-print. Special attention is paid to the search for translations of its fragments into foreign languages. The undertaken review of world studies in xylograph has shown that its degree of knowledge is currently at a low level. In Russia, this xylograph is known, but little studied.
