censorship		 Summary: The article analyzes the problem of protection of military and state secrets in 1944 during release of the occupied territories of the USSR and the European countries. The purpose and tasks of the article are identification and description of structure and contents of the classified information; the analysis of the activities held by the state, party bodies and Glavlit on protection of the state secret during that period. In the course of study organizational measures and fields of activity on information security and their specifics are characterized. The conclusions drawn in the article confirm the facts of carrying out a certain censorship policy on protection of the state secret in general by the state (represented by Glavlit) in interrelation with the course of fighting and political events, their influence on structure and contents of the classified information. The amount of the state and military information, prevented from disclosure, points to the necessity of carying out the censorship work by the state and Glavlit.
