orders of the organization as historical sources		 Summary: The main purpose of the article is to introduce a new historical source – The order book of Vologda medical training school for 1935–1936 years, evaluation of its information content. The article raises the problem of saving of documents on the personnel of enterprises and institutions. In addition, it reveals the circumstances of the discovery of the order book, describes the appearance and condition of the source. Using the methods of systematization and content analysis in determining the types and frequency of orders, the authors concluded about the priority importance of personnel management in the activities of Vologda medical training school in 1935– 1936. The staff were the capital that could be mobilized to provide training for the country’s vital paramedical personnel. Management methods of Vologda medical training school in connection with scarce assets were based on minimization of expenses on material support of educational activity and maximum use of means of disciplinary action, and also moral educational influence on behavior of employees and pupils.
