Summary: In article on the basis of the analysis of a new concrete material is underlined that notorious 58th article of the Criminal code of
RSFSR (counterrevolutionary activity) 1926 (and its subsequent editions) has formed legal the basis for carrying out by retaliatory
bodies of mass reprisals, especially in 1930th years which have reached of the peak in 1937–1938, the so-called period of the Big
terror is underlined. Were not exceptions of this general rule and destiny of Turkmen figures of Kumushali (Kumush Ali) of Boriyev
(1896–1937), Orazmammed Vepayev (Oraz Mamed Vafayev, 1885–1937) and Sejitmurad (Seid Murad) Ovezbayev (1889–1937)
who were on May, 10th, 1933 is condemned for 10 years of imprisonment, and on October, 9th, 1937 are sentenced to a supreme
penalty. At them добросах tortures both other unlawful physical and psychological methods of influence were accepted. Thus as
completely proved fragments of a crime considered their recognitions of the most executioners-inspectors who were under tortures
which in many cases by training and to intelligence were below interrogated. Definitive verdicts over their destinies were accepted by
not judicial and extrajudicial bodies – special meetings and three. All three – K. Boriyev, O. Vepayev and S. Ovezbayev – have been
shot in Sandarmoh (Kareliya) on October, 27th, 1937 – in day of the 13 anniversary of formation of the Turkmen Soviet Socialist
Republic. In biobibliographic sketches are short shined their course of life, the individual questions connected with their scientific and are considered is art-literary heritage. Thus, a main objective given work is to provide interested experts with the fullest scientific information on the shot Turkmens in Kareliya in 1937–1938. |
