Summary: A traditional method of assessing the state of forests is dendrochronological analysis. When monitoring forest plantations, studies in specially protected natural areas are important. Studies have been carried out to study the growth of pine forms in the type of apophysis in shrub-sphagnum pine forests of the Pinezhskiy district of the Arkhangelsk region. Pine forms with different types of apophysis of cone seed scales are distinguished: «convex» and «flat» type. Various forms of pine were recorded in shrub-sphagnum pine forests. It is established that a pine with a «convex» type has large average values for height and diameter of the trunk, the height of the raising of the living branch, the length and diameter of the crown, than the form with the «flat». Significant differences were found in the morphostructural features of cones between pine with a «convex» and «flat» type along the length and weight of the cone, the length and height of the apophysis. The average value of the radial growth of a pine with a «flat» type of apophysis of seed scales is lower than that of a «convex» type. A pine with a «convex» type predominates in terms of radial growth over the entire time series as compared to the «flat» type. Significant and high correlation links between radial growth (in relative indices) and average annual temperature, growth and temperature of the beginning of vegetation have been revealed. |
