Summary: The article, written on the basis of the Central Archive of the Federal Security Service of Russia documents, tells about the secret, but rather brutal confrontation between the Soviet and Finnish special services, which was conducted in 1941–1944. Finnish saboteurs activities specific examples in the rear of the Red Army, measures taken by Soviet counterintelligence for their search, detention and destruction are given. The information about Soviet prisoners of war recruitment by the Finnish special services and the results of this work is presented. Positive results and shortcomings in the work of Soviet counterintelligence are noted.
