Summary: Influence of mathematical mentality is defined by researchers as the main source of grammatical evolution of numerals. The universal
semantic content of numeratives associated with the expression of the mathematical idea of a number really makes their
destinies in a variety of languages in many ways similar. Evolving semantically, the systems of numerals in their lexical composition
are unified by the principle of terminological systems. The unifying thread and the scope of their formation, these numerals
are set in a single derivational model with strictly defined syntax sequence of components. The counting series, in which numerals
perform their main function, is a special text whose elements have a semantic and formal influence on each other. In the process of
numeration numerals tend to the maximum isolation from other parts of speech, usually nominal ones, which is manifested both
in their semantics and grammatical characteristics. At the same time, the examples given in the article show that the interaction of abstract-mathematical mentality and grammar can have as a result formal transformations that are strictly specific for each language and depend on a number of factors. |
